Solace Hair and Body was established in 2008 in the beautiful suburb of Hawthorne by owner/ operator Bec Wilson.
Our ethos has always been to offer high quality hairdressing services in a relaxed and friendly environment. We offer a large range of hairdressing services including straightening, hair extensions, treatments, fashion colouring, upstyling and, of course, style cuts.
We consider our impact on the world in all our actions and chose our products based on this ideal. We support and donate to a number of charities including Child fund, Compassion, 4KQ Special Children’s Christmas Party, Smart Pups and a variety of local fundraising events.

Amanda
Senior stylist & Salon manager
Amanda started her career working on the Gold Coast and then moving to Brisbane. Amanda is highly experienced in all aspects of hair dressing including hair extensions and Keratin Smoothing Treatments.
Roman
Beautician
Roman is a passionate and dedicated beautician at Solace Hair & Body who loves helping clients look and feel their best. She specialises in eyebrow threading, brow and lash tinting, waxing, facials and personalised beauty treatments. With her gentle approach and attention to detail, Roman is committed to delivering beautiful results and making every client feel relaxed, refreshed and confident.
Kristy
Senior Hair Stylist
Kristy has been in the industry for over 32 years and her specialities are short hair cutting, and creative colouring and foiling
Evie
Apprentice Hairdresser
Evie has been working casually as a tea and tidy for the past year. She decided to start a school based apprenticeship in Jan 2025. Evie is a confident young stylist and valued new member of the team.

EmergingHair Stylist
Bhumika is a passionate and enthusiastic emerging hair stylist at Solace Hair & Body. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, with a growing focus on styling, cutting and colouring. Bhumika is dedicated to developing her skills and helping every client look and feel their best.

Apprentice Hairdresser
Ella is a friendly and enthusiastic apprentice hairdresser at Solace Hair & Body. With a passion for hairdressing and creativity, she is continually developing her skills in cutting, colouring and styling. Ella loves learning new techniques and helping clients feel comfortable, confident and beautiful.
