Solace Hair and Body was established in 2008 in the beautiful suburb of Hawthorne by owner/ operator Bec Wilson.
Our ethos has always been to offer high quality hairdressing services in a relaxed and friendly environment. We offer a large range of hairdressing services including straightening, hair extensions, treatments, fashion colouring, upstyling and, of course, style cuts.
We consider our impact on the world in all our actions and chose our products based on this ideal. We support and donate to a number of charities including Child fund, Compassion, 4KQ Special Children’s Christmas Party, Smart Pups and a variety of local fundraising events.

Bec
Senior Hair Stylist & Owner
Bec has been hairdressing for over 20 years, and based in Hawthorne for the past 18 years. Bec is passionate about all areas of hairdressing and specialises in bespoke colouring, style-cutting and colour correction.
Amanda
Senior stylist & Salon manager
Amanda started her career working on the Gold Coast and then moving to Brisbane. Amanda is highly experienced in all aspects of hair dressing including hair extensions and Keratin Smoothing Treatments.
Ashleigh
Senior Hair Stylist / Beautician
Ashleigh has been part of the Solace team for 14 years. Ashleigh enjoys all areas of hairdressing and is also specialised in hair extensions and keratin smoothing treatments.
Kristy
Senior Hair Stylist
Kristy has been in the industry for over 32 years and her specialities are short hair cutting, and creative colouring and foiling
Donna
Beauty
Donna has been working at Solace as a beauty therapist since Dec 2020. She specialises in lash lift and brow shaping. Donna is a vibrant, outgoing person and a great addition to the team.
Hannah
Senior Stylist
Hannah began her hairdressing apprenticeship as a school based apprentice and is now working full time in salon. Hannah loves to blow dry and style hair and is currently completing her cutting and colouring training. Hannah's friendly personality and attention to detail is a great asset to our team.
